MTV VMAS 2011 - Ups and Downs

It was a big surprise to see Vinny and Pauly D from Jersey Shore in this modern and cool look - and for that Well done guys! - but Zoe Saldana and Katie Holmes stole the spot light looking young, sassy and totally appropriate for a MTV event!

What were these girls thinking?!

Deena didn't follow the lead of Vinny or Pauly, which is a shame. Girl tone it down a little bit... just a little bit...
We all know Nicki Minaj is eccentric and we love her for that but this outfit is just way too much, don't you agree? I mean... we already have one Lady Gaga.
And last but not the least (or maybe)... Miley Cyrus. She's young, she's beautiful and she dresses like a 50 year old. Oh Miley Miley... it's the VMAS!


Dresses aside, Beyoncé announced her pregnancy and she was glowing. Congratulations B and Jay-Z!

Best Coast released today their new music video Our Deal directed by Drew Barrymore. Apart from having a famous actress as director, the video also features actress and actor Chloe Moretz and Tyler Poser, so that pretty much says how great it is.
Unfortunately is only available in the US and UK but they are working on expand it to the rest of the world soon.

I love collaborations and when it mixes fashion and art I have my perfect collaboration-cocktail.
This time British designer Fred Perry teamed up with English pop artist Peter Blake to create a three-piece t-shirt line. The colour palette is 1960's inspired and all three styles feature rainbow and Union Jack patches together with hearts, stars and targets.
